SENATE PLATFORM

It is paramount that we are making efforts to support marginalized communities on campus and that includes in the academic sphere.

Students should be given the freedom to decide at what point they no longer wish to be situated in a course without penalty. Additionally, we must strive to be an institution that prioritizes the advancement of research into climate change.

Creating a better academic life is the primary responsibility of Senators. Some of the major ways to support this are by promoting open education, instituting lecture capture technology, and changing policy. Check out below for more information.

Students have said time and time again that they desire more quite spaces on campus and that they want spaces to be accessible, check out how I plan to deliver those things.

The Senate is a very slow and inaccessible body. It is important that students on that body are doing everything in their power to make change structures and make it more digestible for the average student.
